Kathie St. Clair received her Masters in Social Work from the Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. She began her training at the Moreno Institute in 1975, and continued in Roanoke at the Blue Ridge Human Relations Training Institute under the direction of Ann E. Hale. She is a certified Trainer-Educator-Practitioner by the American Board of Examiners in Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy.

Kathie served as a member of the staff of a program for Viet Nam veterans suffering from post traumatic stress disorder at the V.A. Hospital in Salem, Va. This was a unique program in that the basic treatment modality was psychodrama. She was also on the staff of a private psychiatric hospital for a number of years, and is now in private practice.

Kathie joined the faculty of the Trial Lawyers College in 1999, and since that time has practiced as a trial consultant for various lawyers throughout the country.
